Business Applications
Integration & Automation
Systems that talk, so your people do not have to.
Most businesses run more than one system and most of those systems hold some of the same information. When they do not share it, a person does it for them by exporting, re-keying and reconciling, day after day.
We connect the systems you already run so data moves between them on its own, reliably and with a record of every step. Integrations are built to be monitored and maintained rather than left as a black box that only gets noticed when it breaks.

It starts with who owns the data
Before choosing a tool, we answer the question most integrations skip. When the same customer, order or employee exists in two systems, one of them has to be the master that everything else trusts. Get that decision wrong and the integration simply moves the disagreement around faster.
Once ownership is clear, the right integration usually follows. It might be a single automated step, a scheduled data feed or a properly engineered two-way connection.
What we connect
Most of our integration work falls into a handful of patterns.
Microsoft to Microsoft
Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and Power BI working as one estate rather than a set of separate products.
Microsoft to the rest of your business
Finance, HR, payroll and sector-specific platforms that hold data your Microsoft systems need.
Marketing and engagement
Contacts and campaign activity kept in step between Dynamics 365 and Mailchimp, without manual exports.
Documents and signatures
Contracts generated from your data and sent for signature through Adobe Sign, with the signed copy filed back automatically.
Feeding the data platform
Operational data brought together for reporting, analytics and AI.
Our own business
Circyl's own reporting brings together Dynamics 365 and Zoho through an integration our Business Applications team built and maintains.
Choosing the right tool for the flow
There is no single integration tool that suits every job, and choosing the wrong one is how integrations become expensive to run. We pick based on the volume, complexity and criticality of each flow.
Power Automate
Best suited to
Business processes and approvals, using managed connectors
Typical example
Raising a document and routing it for approval when a deal is won
Azure Logic Apps
Best suited to
Business-critical integrations that need volume, monitoring and enterprise controls
Typical example
Synchronising orders between Dynamics 365 and a finance system
Azure Data Factory
Best suited to
Moving large volumes of data on a schedule for analytics
Typical example
Loading data from several systems into your data platform overnight
Custom APIs
Best suited to
Systems with no ready-made connector, or where you need full control
Typical example
Live credit limits from QuickBooks Online shown on the account record for a manufacturer
How we build integrations that last
An integration is only useful if you can trust it, so reliability is designed in rather than added later.
Failures are visible
Errors are retried where it is safe and raised with the right people where it is not, so nothing fails silently.
Every run is logged
Giving you a trail to follow when a figure looks wrong.
Documented properly
What moves, when, in which direction and which system is the master.
Credentials kept out of the code
Held in secure environment configuration, never written into flows or code.
Standard interfaces preferred
Such as OData and OpenAPI, so integrations do not break every time a system is upgraded.
The stack behind it
Electronic signatures built into your document process Custom services where no connector exists Complex business rules carried out reliably inside the platform, wherever the data changes Email marketing kept in step with your CRM Scheduled, high-volume data movement into your data platform Server-side integrations, including long-running work that needs to run outside Dynamics 365 Enterprise-grade integration with monitoring and scale Low-code flows that automate everyday business processes A standard way for systems to query each other's data A published contract for each API so other systems can rely on it

Off the shelf: Dynamics 365 + Mailchimp
Our Dynamics 365 and Mailchimp integration keeps contacts, lists and campaign activity in step between the two, without manual exports.
Sound familiar?
We tend to be the right call when:
Re-keyed by hand
The same information is typed into more than one system.
Export, fix, import
Someone spends hours each week moving data between systems through spreadsheets.
Which one is right?
Two systems disagree and nobody is sure which to trust.
Silent failures
An integration breaks and nobody notices until a customer does.
Some of these have names. If one is hitting home, this is where it leads:
What it unlocks
Get the foundations right and this is what becomes possible:
It rarely stops at integration
A real solution usually pulls in more than one of our skills. We will not steer you towards one product over another, we build what the process needs.
