How Falcon Contract Flooring Doubled Turnover to £15.5m Without Adding Overhead

Our approach

We started by working closely with Falcon’s leadership team to understand how the business operated day to day, then delivered in phases so that the most urgent risks were addressed first. Phase one replaced wall-length whiteboards and spreadsheets with a single Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform for managing enquiries, jobs and schedules, giving everyone at Falcon the same real-time view of the work.

Once those foundations were in place, we brought warehousing, stock control, purchasing and supplier management into the same environment. Falcon’s leadership still works directly with our consultants to design new features and automate more tasks, and the platform is adapted whenever the business changes.

The impact

Errors and duplication have been eliminated across Falcon Contract Flooring, and every stage of a job, from initial enquiry to final payment, is now visible and controlled. Falcon’s purchase orders synchronise directly into Sage Intacct, which removes dual entry and reconciliation between systems.

Within months, the whiteboards came off Falcon’s office walls because they were no longer needed. With scheduling and administration fully digitised, Falcon’s team now spends its time delivering complex, high-value projects, and the business bases decisions on facts. Five years on, Falcon’s partnership with Circyl remains central to how the business grows and stays ahead of the market.
