Mental Health
Awareness Week
This May, we handed
the Marketing reins to the Instagram team - who took
over our LinkedIn feed for the week to share a more
personal side of Circyl.
From daily check-ins
and a coffee & chat session to lunchtime walks
(Greggs included), surprise office dogs and custom
Teams backgrounds, the focus was simple: make mental
health part of the everyday, not a one-off event.
We closed the week
with a video from Neil
Dallaway, our Operations Director
and Mental Health First Aider, sharing practical
advice on spotting burnout and supporting others.
As
demand for its services grew, the Money Advice
Trust faced a critical
challenge: disconnected systems and patchy
reporting were making it harder to see the full
picture - and slowing down decision-making when
speed mattered most.
Working with Circyl,
the Trust introduced a tailored Microsoft Dynamics
365 CRM and launched a modern reporting platform
that delivers daily-refreshed insights.
The result? Up to
two hours saved per transaction in Finance, instant
visibility into key metrics, and better alignment
across teams - all helping the charity support more
people, more effectively.
We’re
delighted to share that Neil
Dallaway has stepped into a
new role as Operations Director at
Circyl.
Since
joining the business in 2022, Neil has played a
key part in shaping our delivery capability -
building strong teams, leading complex projects,
and helping us scale with confidence.
In his new
role, Neil will take on broader responsibility
for project delivery, performance and
operational planning, working closely with the
leadership team to support the next phase of
Circyl’s growth.
Understanding your
Digital DNA and the hidden cost of Silent
Waste
In June,
Andy
McLean and Richard
Asquith joined sister company
Quiss
Technologies for a strategic
webinar on exploring Digital
DNA - what it is, why it
matters, and how it affects the way your
business actually performs.
The
session focused on the impact of Silent
Waste - the
duplication, friction and rework caused by weak
connections between people, process and
technology.
It is
not a minor issue. Studies show it can cost
organisations up to £7,500 per
employee, per year - hidden in manual
workarounds, missed insights and delays that
feel "normal".
If you
missed the session or want a recap, the
recording is now available.
Over on
Instagram, we've been having a great time - from
celebrating National Dog Day, recognising
Anniversaries, running Photo competitions and
capturing the team hard at work - our Instagram
team, Mollie & Rubina, bring the lighter
side of life at Circyl to the fore!

As AI,
automation and self-service tools reshape the
way businesses operate, the rules of client
engagement are quietly changing too.
In this
blog, we explore how modern clients are
interacting with businesses differently - and
what that means for service teams, internal
systems, and customer experience.
It is a
practical look at the operational changes
happening behind the scenes, and what it takes
to keep client relationships strong in a faster,
more digital-first environment.
Fabric
Capacity: What Every Data Team Needs To
Know
If your
Power BI reports are slowing down, or suddenly
stop working, the issue may not be with the
report itself - but with how Fabric Capacity is
being consumed behind the scenes.
In this
blog, Andy Taylor breaks down how smoothing,
throttling and overages work in Microsoft
Fabric, and why understanding them is critical
to building stable, high-performing data
environments.
It is a
must-read for BI and data teams managing refresh
schedules, ETL processes and capacity SKUs —
with real examples, hard numbers and practical
advice throughout.
