Business Intelligence and Productivity solutions provider Circyl add another Customer to its extensive portfolio, capping off a period of significant growth for the firm.
Coleg Gwent, one of Wales’ largest and top performing further and higher education colleges, was keen to enhance its existing SharePoint platform, and they approached Circyl for advice and support to achieve this.
Already utilising a cloud-based platform in SharePoint, the college’s Intranet was crucial to the daily operations of multiple departments, including HR, Finance and Teaching & Learning. However, they were keen to extract further value from their existing investment, ensuring users were making the most of the tools available to them.
In particular, they wanted to maximise their usage of key functionality such as workflow automation, content management and security, allowing them to drive improvements in the consistency of content creation whilst delivering site-wide data governance and consistent corporate branding.
As part of the project, Circyl agreed to offer best practice guidance and education to the college, ensuring they have the support needed to build, plan and deliver the necessary improvements.
Jason Betteridge, Managing Director at Circyl, commented:
“A lot of businesses are approaching us for support with SharePoint, as many feel they could and should be doing more with the technology at their disposal.
“For some, it’s migrating from an outdated version to a supported alternative, whereas others are simply looking to optimise their existing SharePoint platform by enhancing the user experience across the entire business.
“It was the latter for Coleg Gwent, and given our experience overseeing similar SharePoint projects, we have the expertise needed to help them achieve their objectives and deliver a solution that is fit for purpose which can be adapted over time.
“As such, the first stages of the project are already underway and we are very much looking forward to working alongside the client throughout the remainder of the process.”
