Business Intelligence and Productivity solutions provider, Circyl, has added yet another high-profile client to its extensive portfolio, supporting an international provider of hospitaller services with a new Power BI project.
St John of God Hospitaller Services (SJOG) is part of an international family of 500,000 coworkers, working in 500 centers of care across 50 different countries. Since its formation, the business has built a strong reputation for the creative support it provides to individuals – care that helps over 7 million people each year.
Following a period of growth and expansion, the business was keen to upgrade its existing business reporting processes, replacing outdated solutions with a flexible platform that would allow the business to cope with increasing expectations and demands.
One such process in need of an upgrade was the business’ existing legacy Access based solution. Although fit for purpose for many years, SJOG now required a Financial Management Reporting platform that would allow them to quickly consolidate data and build insightful reports.
To maximise the return from their investment in Microsoft technologies SJOG were keen to explore how cloud technology could be leveraged to deliver enhanced IT services. With this in mind, Circyl were engaged to build a new solution in Power BI, providing users with the tools needed to harness important financial data during a period of significant company growth.
Jason Betteridge, Managing Director at Circyl, commented: “It is only natural that as businesses continue to grow, the solutions and processes they utilise evolve too.
“Upon closer inspection of SJOG’s existing solutions, we recognised a need to upgrade its existing legacy Access platform. Implementing a flexible alternative using Power BI in the cloud will allow users to harness financial data and build trusted reports quickly and efficiently.
“Once introduced, the new platform will deliver vast improvements to the business’ financial management capabilities with staff having the tools needed to transform information into business-enhancing insights.
“As such, we are very much looking forward to supporting SJOG and their wider team, doing what we can to help them meet their short and long-term objectives.”
